Default Top Speed Recorded?

The GPS system in the Ghibli I traded for this F-Type was a Garmin unit and recorded the highest speed reached by the car. (One of the few things I liked about Garmin or Maserati)
Does anyone know if the Jag does the same thing? I can't find any reference to that capability and haven't found any buttons to push that brings that info up.

I looked into that as well and could not find this capability either.

It's somewhere in the system stats and so is a bit of the last X minutes before a crash/air bag deployment (black box). As the fellow that crashed it at 170+MPH learned....

It makes perfect sense to me that the stat would be recorded in the on-board computer, I was just curious as to whether or not it was retrievable by the user. Whether anyone would be interested in reviewing what is recorded is of course an individual matter (as are most things.)

I on purpose disabled the speed indication in my dashcam.. ..incase the cops impound it..

Its really amazing I only got one speeding ticket sofar, ánd still have my license.. ..the car is soóó tempting..
One of the reasons I'm more then happy with my P300.. The V6 and surely V8 would have made it much
harder to refrain from flooring the pedal...
