Default Hit a freeway gator

My wife was driving my car home from a restaurant (I was a passenger due to margarita intake) and hit one of those big rubber tire gators. She couldn't avoid it because it came flying out from under the car in front of us. Anyway it slapped the front bumper and broke the little rectangular cover of the left headlight washer and removed the left corner trim piece attached to the bottom of the bumper. The dealership wants way too much for these parts so I am considering using a website called Jaguar Parts EStore. Has anyone else used them and had any issues I should be aware of? Maybe there are other options?

Thanks!

Use harper jaguar parts on line. They have the best prices I think. Yup those gators are sneaky.

You are not insured??
We had a similar incident with an earlier BMW535i. Cost about $1500 for relative minor stuff and no body work.

I'm insured but not going to make a claim. I can fix it for less than the deductible.

I checked out Harper and the prices were a little better than Jaguar Parts Store but they wanted $64 for shipping. All I'm getting is the little rubber spoiler that's about a foot long and the little plastic headlight washer cover.

Anyway, thanks for the info.

Harper does have great prices on their parts. I put a bunch in my cart, clicked through to buy them and then OMFG!!! THOSE SHIPPING PRICES!!! not just inflated prices, but bend over and cough prices!

Glad you got away without an insurance claim.
Could have been worse.
Hope you get it sorted quickly.

Try BritCar in the UK. You can't beat their prices. The question is the shipping. It can be high depending on what you order but worth checking.
