How many Bay Area members do we have? Interested in a meet/lunch/drive Hwy 1?
Calling all Bay Area Typers:
If someone would like to help organize something I'd be glad to help out. Weathers nice and us Typers should gather and show off our cars this summer at some point. Perhaps we can meet at the Berkeley Marina, take a few pictures, then drive across the bridge to hit Highway 1 Pacifica to say Half Moon Bay. If we don't have enough interest, perhaps we can open this up to all Bay Area Jaguar owners and let the local club know.
Let's first get a Bay Area (who/where) head count and interest level. Cut/Paste your name in.
#1 Polaris / Emeryville Lets do it!

Just roster up for now, we'll figure out "when" when we decide were going to do this for sure. For now, we need live bodies with F-Types. Appreciate the effort coming from Rocklin tho, that's kinda a hump, huh? I play poker at Thunder when they have big tourneys so I know the drive blindfolded.

LOL. Very creative response...I love it...
Bottom line Polaris. He was rear ended on the highway and car is in shop and these cars are very time consuming to repair (aluminum body) approved JLR repair shops only.

[oops thought this was to lizzardo...]
Fishy from Tiburon, CA
If it's early enough the wifey isn't up, one might assume there are multiple vacant passenger seats. I just realized I've never been a passenger in my car. Maybe you need to drive. LOL WAIT NO.
I am in depending on day and time. I start a 4000 mile 3 week road trip 7th - 31st July... so unless you are in one of the national parks, I'm out during that time.
But leaving Tib to cross the GG Bridge, take the Great Highway (if it's open)... would be lovely. =)

Well
It looks like the interest is definitely here, let's start thinking of a date that works for the majority of folks. I'm flexible.
I know of a great meeting restaurant in Berkeley. Skates. Right on the water with bridge views and a giant lot right on the mouth of the Bay bridge five mins from SF. if no one has a better idea. I don't think meeting in SF is a great idea due to parking.
Let's start brainstorming

Kitty has gone to ground until it heals, but the rhino didn't make it. The rhino was a Nissan Rogue, and while I don't have confirmation that it was written off, I saw the damage and heard the nasty noises when the two truck driver pulled it off the freeway. I think the transaxle, or something else in the drive to the front wheels, was "misaligned."
