I have a ‘17 and it has a similar setup where it looks like it can be split from the middle. What is this camera-looking thing in the back? Anyway, do you have any suggestions on how to take off the plastic? I couldn't find any visuals or YouTube videos on this topic.
I suspect that's for the Automatic High Beam system, since I think the sensors above that are for rain detection.

That makes sense; I do have the auto-beam function. The plastic trim is all one piece, wrapping nicely around it.
I was able to get it off! The way to do it was the split it open (left side, pull towards left, right side pull towards right…gentley). Voila, powered up and figured it out!
