Default Identify this connector in the boot?

Hey all, I was disconnecting my auto start stop on my MY18 couple when I noticed this connector (circled). Is anyone familiar to what it is for, why it may have been disconnected? Thanks in advance!

I know there’s a connector in the trunk that is used during shipping, and left unconnected afterwards. I don’t recall what it looks like, but that’s likely it.

Tell your friends: That plug is for the passenger Ejector Seat.

...and that you will connect it, if they insist on screaming as you go around corners!

I totally get that when someone sees this connection, the first thought is to worry about why it is there and what it does. I think JLR should have put this in the manual, added a sticker, put a big bold neon sign in the trunk that says, DO NOT WORRY ABOUT THIS CONNECTOR! I think of all F-Type owners, this is by far the most asked question that I see come up. I honestly wonder how many threads, posts on FB, other areas there are about this connector. (no offense to the OP, I think we've all been there at some point)

I agree, or at least attach a sign-tab to the wiring that says SHIPPING?DELIVERY PLUG ONLY or something.

Haha right! There’s a reason the passenger has a grab handle 😎

Wouldn't work for me - my instruction to passsengers is "shut your eyes and scream if you want me to go faster".

I've had passengers (often, rally navigators, 'back in the day') that would barf if they closed their eyes or didn't look where the car was going...
