Default If anyone is wondering how to remove the mirror covers

Pretty easy, I removed mine to vinyl wrap them in gloss black, if I can do it, you can do it :]

i wish you posted this 6 months ago, where i wrapped my car and left the mirrors alone. I figured out how to remove the glass but i couldn't figure out how to remove the cap...

I would suggest 3M or Avery. I used Cheetahwrap this time for the whole car and I wouldn't recommend it.

the whole car, i used avery and it has a lot of installation friendly features like self breathing material, etc etc. and the quality of avery and 3m is days ahead of any other competitor. don't cheap out on vinyl cuz then your car will look cheap.

Thank you for sharing this, I'm sure many will find it useful.

Just wanted to add a slight tweak. The way I take the covers off is to use three trim tools or flat screwdrivers to release all three upper clips one at a time and leave the tool in place so it cannot clip back in again, you can then easily rock the cover off starting at the outside edge with no risk of snapping the retaining hook/tab off the bottom. If you find yourself doing it often you can cut an old credit card into three lengths and slide those in then you only need one tool to release all the clips.

For the whole car. I find the thicker vinyls protect the car more as mine already got rock chipped.
