Default I'm officially official - 2017 V6S BDE

Flew to Chicago this morning and decided to sign the paperwork for this beautiful 2017 British Design Edition AWD V6S. It's CPO, 1-owner, 30,600 miles, fantastic condition. It's getting shipped back to VA Beach this week and then going in for light paint correction, full-front PFF, and likely ceramic coating. I'll also get the windows tinted and maybe wrap the chrome trim with a satin gunmetal to match the wheels.

Looks great. Few warnings - F-type engine is super-sensitive to engine oil, make sure to stay on top of oil changes and make sure to use spec (not just any synthetic oil will do) engine oil. Also, AWD cars have lower oil fill volume than RWD cars - consequently it is very common to see them overfilled at the dealer. Last but not least - despite having electronic dipstick, the car will not warn you about low oil condition. So you have to manually check it yourself.

Welcome and congrats. Word of warning when the car arrives bring a pillow as your not going to want to get out of it to go to bed.

Love it / looks beautiful. I do like that colour on the f Type

Let us know what you end up doing for paint protection/ceramic etc. Haven't done mine yet but unfortunately in the current situation I've hardly driven it in several months

I'm fortunate to have a local detailer how handles Ferraris and Lambos on a regular basis. I'll do Suntek PPF and CQuartz Professional or Finest Reserve. It probably only needs a single stage paint correction for prep.
