Default Infotainment dead

I have unplugged the battery and it came back for a week but then the screen went black again. Lights are still lit up on the side so I don’t think it is a fuse issue. I have an Apple car play piggyback that still gets power too. Anyone know if I can just buy a used screen on eBay and swap it or does it need to be paired to the car?

thanks in advance

You are moving far too fast…job #1 is to ensure that your battery is FULLY charged. Unless you do that you you will be wasting time, effort and money. Battery first, always. And the fact that the engine starts easily means nothing in this regard.

This. The battery is the culprit in many cases, even if you think it is fully charged. Driving it alone will not accomplish that in most cases. Put it on a charger for at least 24 hours. If it's a trickle charger or CTEK maintainer it can take longer than that if the battery is truly discharged.
