Totally understand your logic Shift and I can't say I blame you,if there was a way I could get out of my lease without taking it in the shorts I believe I'd seriously explore the possibility.

Thank you again for all your legwork in organizing the drives, they were fantastic...and best to you and the dog...I see you back in another Porsche before long.

Funny - I own an F-Type R, and my wife owns a Mini Cooper S. We have a beagle and so far, it's been alright for the both of us. I do love the Mini as well - it's a blast to drive in a completely different way.

Something tells me you'll be back.
If you're ever this way, stop in for a beer and a refresher run.
It was 70 today - top's down weather.

Sorry to see you go Shift. While I haven't been as active on the forums lately since we just had a baby, I've enjoyed the opportunity to chat with you here in the forums, and to meet you in person at the summer F-Type drive event.

I understand your predicament as I was in a similar position not too long back. I had 3 vehicles, of which I was really only driving one (the wife drove the third, which was a full size SUV) and we didn't really have space (and I didn't really want to keep paying for upkeep) for all 3. I ended up consolidating my vehicles to the FTR and got the wife a smaller SUV, and that helped a lot.

Though the lack of a back seat in the F-Type is a bit of a sore point with the addition of the baby, so I may eventually need to look for something a bit more family friendly. Not sure I'd go as far as the countryman, coming from a high performance sports car, but I suppose I can see it for a dog. Personally, I will probably end up back in a 911 cabriolet for the rear seat space. Hopefully not for a while longer yet since I'm still loving my FTR.
