Laundry List of Problems with CPO F-Type
I have paperwork with the purchase, CPO adds one year to the factory warranty, which expires in May 2022. I've talked to the dealer and my appt is Tuesday, but he's encouraged me that I am under warranty and they can sort it out. Overall I'm just really bummed about the experience. Yes to whomever asked, this is my first Jag. I'm going to collect some info on the forums to see what to expect, then see what the mechanic says. They're giving me a loaner also, though idk what yet. It's getting late in the driving season here and I would like to take some road trips before winter.
If car that has a CPO is acquired by a non Jag dealer that has a CPO warranty when resold, the CPO will terminate. This was direct from a trusted Jag GM dealer. Not sure if sold private to private person. Great if different as my soon to be acquired svr is a CPO purchased from non-Jag dealer, but I have no reason not to believe my source.

I humbly submit this to not be the case..
Fortunately, my buying my previously CPO '17 XF from CarMax indeed retained its CPO status..
I checked with 3 dealers and 1-800-Jaguar.
As scm correctly points out, those are for your Jaguar InControl accounts and have absolutely nothing to do with your warranty or CPO status. You have to see what the warranty date is in the dealer network computers and the only way to do that is to ask that dealer directly (they can print out the screen for you).

Just called 2 different Jaguar dealers out of Virginia who separately confirmed my CPO is indeed intact until 10/13/2023..
Very glad that buying 3rd hand from CarMax did not erode the CPO Status..
Really looking fwd to OP getting their issues fixed..
Albeit adjustments & noises do not seem to get coverage on CPO..
And from the Jaguar USA website
There may come a time when you decide to sell your Jaguar Approved Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle. The new owner will feel assured knowing that the warranty that came with your purchase is fully transferable.

I hope this is the case, as my newly acquired'18 svr is a CPO. I wonder if who it transfers from is the issue as a non-Jag dealer (maybe CarMax has a special arrangement). I will check again. Thanks.
In most CPO cases, not necessarily every brand, it is the car that is warrantied, not the owner. Unfortunately the word "certified" is used much too frequently in car sales. In New England, try taking your F Type to Jaguar of Bedford (for example), and tell them it's "Herb Chambers Certified"!. Carfax can be helpful in showing when a car is sold as a certified vehicle, but not always 100 percent of the time. CarMax uses Experian autocheck which, in my case only showed 3 services at an unnamed "service center". I ran my own Carfax and there were 11 visits in 5 years to 2 Jag dealers for regular service.

You can tell him the guy with the scary loud white F-Type R sent you..
Good luck.
