Nice! I asked for those when I got mine, but they only had the Union Jack. Yours are GREAT.

Received mine last week too. Nice gesture, though I think most of the budget went into the packaging!

Ha! True about the packaging, but a nice and unexpected little surprise when I received today. Good on Jag!

Is the book an instruction manual with torque charts?

Remember always install the caps 1-3-2-4, you always want to cross then re-tighten. Check for tightness again in 1000 miles.

Today being Saturday ,
I received a notice in my mailbox from USPS. it's a certified package waiting for me at the post office .
How did you guys get your package. Was it via certified package?
I'm not expecting any packages from anyone so I wondered what it could be, until I saw this thread .
I now have my 2017 car for3 weeks.
Thank you

A better-than-nothing gesture I guess, but I'm underwhelmed. And surprised. They're pretty cheap and yes, they did spend more, maybe a lot more on the packaging than the caps.

After I purchased a Cadillac CTS, I received in the mail a beautiful coffee table-worthy book "Cadillac" nicely bound and in a sleeve, well-curated with high quality photography and graphics that depicts famous models along with Cadillac's vast cultural impact. It's a keeper.

Now why couldn't Jaguar do something like that? They can. I haven't looked but I'm sure there are plenty of similar well-produced books chronicling Jaguar heritage. But that's just one example of what they could do to recognize new owners.

The point is, something of greater significance and value is more in keeping with the brand image Jaguar must promote. In their war against German and Japanese competition, brand image is everything. This didn't contribute much to it.

A Breitling would have been perfect with the F Type. That would be an amazing gift.

I received mine through the Post Office and they would not leave without a signature. Had to go and pick them up. Same caps as shown.

I think it is a nice gesture, yes packaging was over the top, but a nice gesture.

Enjoy them, and thanks Jaguar.

It's not like the contents of the box are of high value.
Why did Jaguar implement signature protocol. Value is what,
$40.00 maximum.

Agreed, but I always subscribe to the "Thought" that counts! BTW, Audi sent a booklet with very valuable gifts to choose from and I chose a "Sonas" stereo speaker system. Did I buy another Audi? Nope. But again the value was higher but the "thought" is what counted. Will I buy another Audi.....maybe?

In the case of the Alfa Romeo 4C, we got a pair of luggage tags with an "authentication letter" for the tags in a fancy leather box... Sort of a joke considering the ridiculously small size of the trunk in the 4C (you might fit one very small bag in there if you keep your soft top on the car).

Default My friend bought a Phantom

RR gave him an umbrella.

Don't laugh just yet. The umbrella was made of wood and aluminum and was possibly the best umbrella I've ever seen. They MSRP @ $1300 and sell for $700 on eBay.

When I bought my Jag, they sent me a beautiful BRG F-Type with a manual transmission. I was thrilled!

One of the items in the package is a booklet covering accessories... and they show a picture of the Jaguar Heritage 2016 jacket which I thought looked really good.

Problem is, I don't think its available in North America and the UK site says no international shipping available. Or at least I couldn't find, after a brief search, any sites on line for North America that sell it.
Very Pricey regardless !
