Loss of Power Steering
I am one of those less fortunate owners with my F type having a fair number of issues. I searched the threads and did not find any similar postings. It has 6200 miles and I have had the manual transmission replaced twice and the starter replaced. Things had been working great for the past year and now I have lost the electrical assisted power steering. No lights and nothing else seems to have changed. The only environmental change is we had our first overnight freeze and I do park the car outdoors. I live about 1.5 hours from the dealership and I took it out for a little test drive and I cannot say I would feel safe driving on highways with the weirdness of the steering at this point so it looks like my third flatbed to the dealership in 2 years. Has anyone else encountered this issue ?
I still love the car. I am just disappointed something else came up after I felt like the car was finally reliable.

He has a MY2017, could he have electric PAS rather than hydraulic?
If so not a helluva lot of fluid to go funny in the cold!

Yeah... so I’m not awake today. EPAS has very little power steering fluid.
Check the fuse, but that should have thrown a warning light.

My reading over the years on non-Jag sites, indicates that EPAS systems can bind for the usual reasons: stiff ball joints or linkages, binding sway bar or steering racks, etc.
Just as with people, joints can be stiffer when cold. (Can you hear my knuckles popping as I type this?)
I'm more inclined to suspect a loose or corroded main electrical connection as a result of the other repairs, though.
