Default Low wiper fluid warning and leak

Hey guys have a 2014 f type s convertible and it recently said low wiper fluid warning. Added some and light went away. Next day saw large pool under pass side front tire. Pulled tire off and wheel cover back and saw front reservoir full and it appeared to be coming from behind the plastic container towards the rear. Drove few more times and light does come and go. Any thoughts is it the sensor bad? I noticed 2 there (made in China go figure) or could it be a floater bad inside?

thanks

I doubt it is just a bad sensor or float since you indicated there was a large pool under the passenger side? That would mean it is actually leaking...correct? The way these systems work, is the fill tank is in the rear, and as it monitors the level in the front tank, it pumps more fluid as the front gets low. It will either be a crack/hole somewhere higher than the very bottom of the front take (since the fluid is still in it), or one of the grommets where the pump or sensor push into the tank is leaking....Or one of the hoses is not connected or split?

Likely going to have to pop it out and inspect it to see which one it is. Probably leaking and the back tank is re-filling...then the back tank gets low and the light goes on.

Good luck,
DC

Should look like this https://parts.jaguarlandroverclassic.../brand/jaguar/
Make sure the 2 pumps are not leaking.
