I had heard that the 135i might have the same trans, but I wasn't able to confirm it. Does anyone have access to take pics of a 135,235 or 335i linkage?

I worked with JLR in Greenville and negotiated 7% off MSRP with very little hassle. Just asked several dealers for their best deal on what I wanted and went with the one I felt most comfortable. This was before the rebate, which they did not know about but are now doing.

Just because the gearbox is the same doesn't mean the external linkage is the same. I'm not saying it *isn't* because I just don't know, but that's a huge assumption.

It is highly likely to work since the relative position of the stick doesn't matter. Only the stick is being replaced, and none of the linkage. Worth a try.

I agree that it's worth a look, but do not share your optimism. Does anyone have a diagram for the F-Type that is analogous to this?

My custom order got a discount off MSRP, and a few things thrown in, but with a lack of inventory on the manual and 2016 being brand new, and factory order... I didn't expect there was much room to negotiate. Quite good on the others who were able to do that... I am not sure if that is a geographic thing. I think the 2016 is going to be in higher demand than previous models with lower inventory?
