Thanks in advance for answering all my noob question I’ve asked.

I’ve noticed a new bit of weird with my F-Type (‘14 V8S): Under hard acceleration it appears as though the engine is pushing up against the hood. I can see a visible push up when I floor it. Today I’ve noticed an audible knock to when it pushes up. My guess is some motor mount bushings going out. Anyone dealt with anything like this? Does my thinking on motor mounts seem correct?

 

I seem to remember someone had to have one replaced not so long ago. Similar symptoms as well.

Thanks all. Took it in, both of the upper bushings were disintegrated. Looks like you found the solve.

 

Yeah, that was me. I broke mine too. It was in pieces. Changed it out with two new double fuel pumps at the same time since I was down there. No more problems.
