Is my 2014 Salsa Red V8s Convertible one of a kind?
While I know these cars aren't rare or particularly considered a collectible car (yet) but is there a way to find out if my 2014 salsa red V-8 S convertible with every conceivable option including the full carbon package with a sticker of
around $110,000 is one-of-a-kind?
I've looked up info on the registry but can't seem to ascertain as to whether or not there is another car in the United States identical to mine.
i'll likely be listing it for sale in the weeks to come and don't want to mislead potential buyers.
Probably not too rare. Mine listed for $10800. Mine doesn't have premium wheels or wheel locks.
Ultimate Black Metallic with 8000 miles. I am also considering selling to replace it with a newer R coupe.
You can keep an eye on this one that is currently on BAT. Although it is newer than yours the auction should give you some indications of price and the comments can sometimes be enlightening.
Thank you for posting the link to the post on bring a trailer. I followed the bid and the comments to get a good education on how the site works. I hope it was 31K and did not sell because of the reserve price. I'm curious to know if the reported accident on Carfax brought the value down slightly?
there's a good chance you will see my salsa red on the site in the near future. We will see!
The reserve price was 33k which in my opinion was an excellent buyers price. The accident, although noteworthy, was not a major deal and the owner provided all the documentation on it and the repairs made.
All in all for a V8, MY15, convertible, Salsa Red, low miles and two owners, you would not have gone wrong at 35k.
The condition of some of these coming up on this auction site lately leave much to be desired.
I doubt it's one of a kind. I've seen quite a few Salsa Red convertibles and if the only thing that makes yours unique is the optional carbon back that you could add to any other F-Type, would that really make it a 1 of 1? Don't get caught in that trap. I saw a Challenger that was labeled as 1 of 1 because they had fitted it with all season tires when the ordered it...

Great feedback! I was into midyear Corvettes for a while and one thing that drove up the price was unique options when a vehicle was built. It sounds like this is less important for the F-type.
Most likely what will drive up the price on my F type is the fact that it has under 20,000 miles but probably won't drive it up all that much.
I sold my 2014 Polaris White Vert with 54,000 miles and on its third motor for $32,000 last year at a local Honda dealer. It was a fire sale after accidentally passing a cop at 136 mph and the legal trouble after that.
