For me there´s no temperature-limit. I always drive open, unless it´s not raining and dry air.
I discovered, that it is possible to drive with a low fuel consumption. But it also is boring. Here in Germany it´s nice to push the pedal to the metal on the Autobahn.

I assumed his was a convertible because of the speeds he quoted. The coupe goes up at 70 mph and down at 50 mph where the vert followed the speeds he referenced.
I had forgotten the world market cars allow for the coupe's spoiler deployment when driving. Here in NA, not only do you have to be at a standstill, the engine can't be running.

Learn an easy way to keep the vert top clean between washings. I accumulate a lot of lint and fuzzies which stands out against the black top. I found a Tape Lint Roll is an effective and easy way to keeping the top clean. a couple of minutes and the rag top is spotless.

Things I learned about my car?
When it says ‘50 miles to empty’, that’s roughly 2 miles of driving and 48 miles of pushing. (My fuel gauge is clearly defective or miscalibrated, ran out of gas at ‘48 miles to empty.’)
It’s possible (though not easy) to get 2 stand golf bags in the trunk of the convertible (woods go in the passenger footwell.)
50 degrees is roughly my lower limit for having the top down. 88-90 degrees is the upper limit, depending on sun, etc.
Vacuuming the carpet in the roof storage area is a PITA.
Easy to see when the roof needs reproofing - it stops beading water. Best to do it in warm weather, as the fabric soaks it up when warm. (Yeah, I’m due, now that it’s getting cooler.)
Surprisingly, the right-side headlamp was much easier to change in the F-type than it was in my Mercury Milan (aka Ford Fusion.) Though the manual I referenced had the wrong bulb type...

On a “rally” to Whistler last weekend.
Opportunity to make use of dynamic to amuse...and noticed that the display would show % of fuel theoretically remaining, when reverting to normal.
Hadn’t noticed that before....or, perhaps more disturbing, don’t recall seeing it before...

Not sure that applies to earlier models like my 2015. I have the CC set on auto 98% of the time and never once has the centre vent not risen when starting the car.

I only saw it for the first time when it started to get colder. Drove the car in 50F weather and with auto set to 72F the car will summon heat, which is done out of the floor vents, so the center vents never rise. I've also seen it when I drop the top in colder weather. As soon as the top goes down the vents come up and supply more heat to the cabin. When the roof comes back up they go back down shortly afterwards.

That's because you live in a country that doesn't understand the concept of "cold". I know when winter's on its way in the UK because my vent stops rising. On the the plus side, I know winter's past when it pops up in the spring!

So I just checked: Climate - Settings - Centre Vent and there are two choices, Auto or Always Open, and mine is set to Always Open.
Next winter I might change that setting to Auto.
