Default New Carbon Fiber Paddle Shifters

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Red-Carbon-...4383.l4275.c10

I use my paddles fairly often, wanted an upgrade. With these, the fit is so snug that pulling off the 3M stickers for the glue isn't even needed.

These are finished with a glossy epoxy that is very smooth to the touch. There is one rib on the backside for grip.

Garish, in MHO.
Besides, I grew up with three on the tree and four on the floor. The steering column is not where I go to shift gears. I much prefer the console gear shift and never use the paddle shifters. In addition, finding the right paddle shifter on a tight winding road can be very problematic.

These look 1000 times better than the ones on the other thread, regardless of ones desired color preference.

Where did you find these?

Same here but not just the right, but rather both on twisties makes them un-viable IMHO. Shifter is much more reliable and quick. Beforehand I would have never realized this

Sorry, should have used the word "correct" instead of "right". LOL
BTW, I've had the paddles on four cars now and never used them. At least they should be mounted to the stationary column and not the wheels which rotates. At least then you could find the "correct" one no matter the position of the steering wheel.

I prefer the solid/whole pieces, but those in black would be pretty nice.

Agree that the paddles not being fixed to the column sucks. Can you imagine giant Lambo paddles following the turn of the wheel? I know the Huracan is column mounted and that makes the most sense.

The little kid in me does love the paddles in a straight line though.

Paddles create a symphony in a tunnel.

Please clarify for me. What would be the difference in using the paddles in a tunnel or the console shifter in Dynamic and Sport Mode? Either way I can shift my transmission when I want to rather than letting the TCU control shift points.

The difference is one or two hands on the wheel.

Black would be incredible in your car

I like the red ones but they wouldnt go well with my orange paddles. On paddles vs shifter I find the shifter confuses me (I shift down when I want to go up etc) even though I have no problem with a manual. But then I am using my left hand rather than right, maybe it would be less confusing with my right hand.

I dont think that shifters should be on the column (for me anyway), any time I have tracked a car I have been told to keep my hands essentially at a quarter to three and not to shuffle them, the only times I have had to move my hands on the wheel have been on hairpin turns and you dont tend to change up until you are out of them and straightening up.

[/ QUOTE]

I agree 100%.

I agree. And that IS my car! That black finish is perfect. Carbon fiber paddles would look out of place because there's no C/F in my car.
