Default New F Type R Owner

Hello. New to the forum, and Jaguar ownership. Drove my friend’s F Type R and had to get one of my own. Fortunate to find one with low miles, CPO, and in my first color choice. Really like this car a lot. Looking forward to hanging around here a bit.

Saw it last night. Enjoyed it. Not gonna win any Academy Awards, but a fun movie! I grew up on these movies, so it was predictable at times, but they did a good job with it.

Thanks for the welcome, guys.

Make 101% certain to stay on top of oil changes. F-type engines are reliable UNLESS you wait too long to change engine oil. Everything is controlled by oil pressure, so old oil really does a number on them. More so, there isn't low oil warning, it is possible to run it dry and it won't warn you.

Sold the 2016 a couple years ago, but always thought maybe I'd find another one. Just picked this one up a couple weeks ago.

It is a beauty for sure, and pairs nicely with the bike! Congratulations.

Thanks! I cannot remember the last time I had a fun car that wasn’t a convertible. That said, I don’t really miss it. The coupe has a glass top and I like the lines a lot better.

Thank you for the reply. I thought I was going to go for a convertible. That was all that I was looking at. In a funny turn of events, I ended up with a Coupe.

Wife is happier as it does not mess up her hair .... But the glass roof provides that feeling of openness that I really like. And another plus is the additional space available.

Not trying to say I'm old, but I saw the original Godzila movie in a theater. The one with Raymond Burr.
And Gojira, welcome.
