I caught it this AM. Nice ad in a lot of ways. Good to see Jackie, the Jaguar, and the message. Interesting move from "drink responsibly" to "never." As my favorite bartender once told me, "the best of it isn't any good for you."

Unless my eyes are deceiving me - and that doesn't happen often if at all - that certainly looks like a "6" (from the smoke coming from the dual tailpipes). Interesting only in that I can't recall many, if any, Jaguar ads (certainly TV spots) featuring anything but an "8".

Nice ad!

If Jackie Stewart drives a "6", that's good enough for me. Always a pleasure U having you on my "6", literally and figuratively.

So...it's quite clear the Flying Scot doesn't need the power of a V8 to make an F-Type go fast but did he opt for an MT or AT?

The Flying Scott is getting old and his reflexes are not what they used to be. He cannot handle an 8

Probably chose a 6 because the twin pipes evoke thoughts of the E-Type...

I'm reminded of Skippy School in the early 90's, where we were talking about racing logic. The instructor said "OK, Mario is on the inside, you're on the outside. Whose corner is it?" We all said "Mario's!" Then he said "OK, now you're on the inside and Mario is on the outside. Whose corner is it?" We all said, in unison (but no four part harmony) - "Mario's!!"
