Bought a 15 base today, had an XK that was side swiped. The only option it does not have is the one I wanted most, the sunroof, always hated the XK coupe did not come with one. Car is black on black, was wondering if anyone else had this issue. I tried calling local jag dealer and they could not give me any details about the service history, said I need to call the dealer the PO had the car serviced at, seems weird to me. Anyone else had this happen to them?

The F-Type was never offered with a sunroof. I wish it was as I prefer fresh air to A/C. You may be thinking of the panoramic roof, which is stationary, but does have an interior shade which can be manually retracted for a view of the sky.

The sunroof option is the convertible. The pano roof is cool, I’d have that if I got a coupe.

Default Try a CarFax report

If the PO did get the car serviced regularly, all that should show up on CarFax. The MY2017 I bought only had one CarFax posted service on it... an oil change not done at the dealer, but at one of those quickie oil change places. (At least it was done at 16K miles). The car had 24K on it when I got it. I made appt at JLR immediately for them to go through it. I still had 18 months factory warranty left, so hoped if they found anything, it would be covered. The only issue the car had was the battery, which was replaced under warranty. After that I made regular age-based appts for the car, since the mileage was never going to pile up. Here's the link for CarFax reports.

Problem with carfax is that a lot of indy shops do not report body work and engine repairs, but I did get one from the dealer.
Thanks!
