Greetings all,

After trying to deduce the cause for creaks and squeaks, I've realized it's the rear bulkhead piece behind the seats, the leather wrapped plastic piece. In certain sections it has a lot of give like it's loose, and if I press it right behind my seat, it creaks like it's in pain. Anyone have any ideas how to remedy this or should I go to the dealer?

 

Not sure if it’s the same problem you’re having, but I remember watching a video a while back on YouTube from a channel called Skrrt Garage. It was some rattle or creak he was having behind him in his previous generation that he suggested was common. He talked about how he remedied it.

Not sure if that might help you or not, but just thought I’d mention it. I found a few of that guys’ video useful.

Basically, add felt tape to every plastic joint until the noise goes away.
