NorCal F-Type event
If you drove out to NorCal, I'd drive out part way to meet you. I've been looking for an excuse to go to Colorado...
A definite possibility. I usually stop in with friends in Colorado on my trips across the country. Would finish the trip in SoCal after the event and possibly ship the car back from there.
But I would definitely try to meet out there for a big loop, sometime in front of this spring meet up. =)
I just realized... this won't just need a proper name for the event, one that we could live with into the future, but it's likely we would need a hashtag and temporary vinyl decal for it.... a lot of car groups do it, and you are able to find so much video and photo content online when they know what to tag. I don't have FB or use Instagram. I'm on twitter or reddit a bit. But it would be nice.

Thanks again everyone!
Here is an event, while not Norcal, is in Santa Barbara (central Cal?) I'm new(-ish at this point) to Jags but I guess it's a big deal to have this in your country, let alone state...

Misujerr,
With regard to the Santa Barbara event, I believe forum member Ralphwg from the X150 forum is in charge of organizing a driving event from Southern California during that period of time.n I know I have spoken to Ralph a couple of times about it. He is working on the route, now, as he will be out of town during the actual drive but is close to completing it last I spoke with him. I will give him a call this weekend and see if I can get any more information.

I actually saw two F-Types in the wild today on my commute. One going in; a white V8S convertible with Texas tags, on 24 West, then Fish Ranch Rd. to Grizzly Peak. One coming home; a very dark with bluish tint V6S convertible, on 24 East. That's an unusual event here. I often don't see another for months.
I just realized thx-1138 would fit on a license plate. But that's neither here nor there. I have this thing where I purposely Misread license plates as badly as I possibly can.
So, "thanks Mr. Iowa" 👍👌😜

I think one of the cars in "American Graffiti" had a "THX 1138" license plate. Haven't seen either film in ages, but I remember the protagonist in the latter was wanted for "criminal drug evasion."
A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away, I was a teaching assistant for a psychology class in which one of my students had to leave school, mid-semester to act in the movie, American Graffiti. He was a humble, very nice, and smart young man named Ronnie Howard. He's done quite well for himself, ever since.
