Beats me, I’m just the messenger.
But I downloaded it here somewhere in a thread that discussed how to use them. Note that it’s for the X351, which I think is the XJ.

To add gauges to your Android screen go to main screen > Realtime Information > settings gear wheel lower left corner > Add display
Then you can choose what type and how large a display you want. You will need to experiment how they are arranged on the Android screen. Play around with it awhile and you will get the hang of it but prepare to spend at least 30+ minutes to get it to start up and just show the gauges you want. You may have to delete some of the preconfigured gauges to get the page number down to one (I think it starts with 6 pages where you can add gauges, MPG calculators, graphs, etc). You can overlap gauges to save space.
Once you have the Coolant and Oil Temp gauges displayed how you like them, press and hold one then select "Display configuration" where you can set alarms, etc. You may have to set the alarms in C rather than F.
For importing PIDs go to the settings gear on main page and select "Manage extra PIDs/Sensors" and import the file from @DJS (BTW thanks!).

Can't find Cambo's original post laying this out but he did put out a real nice instruction set. He is part of or maybe the owner of "Old Jaguar Group" in Oz. He is a stone cold expert on this and Jaguar's in general. Don't see him post much anymore but years ago when I first got on the forum he was real active.
I had a small part in that when it was first released it was only in metric units. I asked and he created a Imperial unit version too.
I have both sets of PIDS if anyone is looking for them.

Got a low battery warning this morning. Looks like there is still a decent draw happening. Do you do anything to shut down the app after a drive?Originally Posted by JagCode3

@Evoex Ah I see what you mean since you have an Android head unit. I use an Android phone that I take with me when I exit the car. There must still be communication going on between the Torque Pro app and the OBD2 scanner when the ignition is off. I can see that would be a much larger drain. Is the red hazard triangle light staying on?
The only options I can think of are to completely exit Torque before you turn off the car (easy to do), or disconnect the OBD2 scanner by unplugging it (hard to do) or getting this cable and flipping the switch (in-between). The bummer is these require an extra step before you leave the car. Disconnecting the scanner repeatedly will lead to some failure of the OBD2 housing at some point because it is a tight fit (I need 2 hands - one to stabilize the housing and one to remove the scanner, usually requires some wiggling). Or you can just plug in a battery maintainer each time you park the car at home overnight if feasible. It's like owning an EV!
You could get the scanner which has the battery saver feature, but this may not work if the Android head unit is still communicating with the scanner after the ignition is off.
I again give my highest recommendation for getting a battery monitor - the one I use ( ) so you can see exactly what is going on with the battery:

FWIW - My 2016 F-Type R always leaves the OBD2 port active after I plug something in. I have tried the OBDLink adapter with Torque Pro and an iCarsoft scan tool and I have not found a way to eliminate the red triangle staying on and the ongoing power drain. My only solution is to disconnect the battery for about 10 seconds. I added a quick disconnect in the trunk/boot to make it easier to stop the drain.

Supposedly there are certain Bluetooth obd2 plugs that shut themseles down and properly flag the car to shut down.

Same story as this morning, low battery message in the car, power trunk would not raise on its own. Car cranked and drove just fine, disconnected negative terminal at home, removed Veespeak OBD2 connection. Will reconnect battery in 20 mins.

@chasers03 and @s3yang have confirmed a definitive fix for the OBD2 drain. It involves installing 4 updates to the vehicles RFA, GWM, IPC & BCM modules. You need to get the understanding and cooperation of the dealer to do this for you or get SDD/Pathfinder and DIY.
