Default Officially One of the Fold

I am now truly a member of the group! Took delivery of my SVR yesterday evening and have driven a little over 70 miles so far.
Couple of "pre-detail" pics for your enjoyment.
My sales guy says "there aren't any" when I ask for Jag's official break in recommendations. (I will read the owners manual at some point....)
My first driving impressions are positive. I am an admitted Porsche-phile coming from a top of the line Turbo S, so I want to drive it several days before making any real comparisons. My very first impression is that is feels and handles very much like the Mercedes AMG GTS I test drove several times, but looks a h$ll of a lot better. Ultra Blue is very pretty, a bit in your face, yes, but gorgeous. The SVR interior is quite nice, as I was getting bored with Porsche very functional but bland interiors.

We need to see some outdoor pictures to really see that gorgeous blue.

My salesman also told me there was no recommended break-in procedure, which was incorrect. Jag failed to include it in the initial printing of the manual, but they did add it in the 2nd edition, under the 'Maintenance' section.

Mine was mostly past the break-in period by the time we located the break-in recommendations.

If you had gotten a convertible I would have been super envious. As is, just a little bit. Congratulations, love the color.

Congrats on your purchase and welcome to the forum.

Not sure if the SVR will be different but i read in my R owners manual that it recommends up to 1500 miles of running in. Then separately i have read that they recomend 2000 miles before you track the car.

Again no idea if this applies to the SVR, i'd personally hope not.

Welcome, and thanks for sharing your car...it is bloody gorgeous. It's the first SVR I have seen that anyone has. Not even spotted on in the UK yet!

I think a black growler and black callipers might be in order!
