Car is in (awd-R) windows tinting- v1 hardwire being done I could pick up Wednesday if my salesman was working!!!!!


Having been porscheless 2 weeks and lumbering around in an explorer these last few days waiting will seem tedious.


BTW a search of the VIN on the WW shipping website shows it was off loaded in Baltimore last night - strangely enough it arrived at the dealer 24 hours earlier than that????????

 

Congrats! Are you the 1st with AWD on the forum to take delivery? Haven't seen anybody post that they picked up an AWD yet...

 

Im still in the not delivered group...BTW as this is leased I have a nasty tendency to forget about breakin parameters so I may have some bold early impressions

 

break-in, what break-in? drive like you stole it.

 

Remind me not to buy your car when it comes off lease.

Several people have taken delivery of AWD Rs over the last few weeks. They've been on dealer lots since the 4th of April.

To the OP, i'm very jealous. Every time I see someone who's car made it through port so quickly I die a little inside. Mine is still sitting there, 56 days and counting.

Again, my sincerest condolences. At least in my case, I was forewarned of the lengthy wait and was/am prepared for it.

 

Actually, I took mine home (after window tint and clear bra install) this morning. Don't think I am first on the forum, but I was told I was the first in the DFW Metroplex.

Personally, I could care less about what number I am to take delivery, I'm just in love with the car after the long wait...
