Hi guys,

I'm troubleshooting my steering wheel control issues after swapping the steering wheel, but that's all outlined in a different thread.

To save a lot of time and effort and to allow me to test each component separately, is it ok to start the ignition with primary airbag disconnected? I appreciate I'll get an error code\symbol at the time, but will it reset itself once reconnected or need a dealer visit?

I have not done this with F-type, but on other cars this results in a fault that only dealer can clear. So you will have airbag light that you won't be able to clear without a dealer's tool.

 

Put some ear plugs in first and don't sit in the passenger seat. Sorry couldn't help myself.
