Ok I've got a weird little thing thats driving me crazy on my car. Everytime I get out of the car and lock it, the little compartment behind the armrest opens. I keep a hat and a few things in there and more than once I've come back to the car with it open and waiting for someone to take it!
Anyone else have this problem and figure out a way to fix it?

 

tape it down? haha i dunno...thats super strange.

i guess the latch is sensitive to the point that the slight vibration of locking the door opens it? does it open when driving over bumps?

 

Are you by any chance storing your ten-gallon hat, shotgun, and a saddle in there?

Unless you are over-stuffing that compartment, you have a bad latch.

 

I assume you have a 2014 - a lot of them (including mine) shipped with that 'feature'. There was/is a TSB to fix it - if I remember, I'll look up my invoice when I get home tonight.

That'd be great! Dealer "couldn't reproduce" 3x and haven't done anything yet!
