Default Orange triangle : SPOILER NOT AVAILABLE

Yesterday I was on my way to the dealer at around 135km/h , without the spoiler up [ normally as of 122km/h..], as abloke in a Tesla started to P-.. me off by driving about 1km/h faster on CC and blocking me to change lanes.
So I accelerated, moved one lane up an overtook a row of cars..

Then, about 5kms later, the same was about to happen so I moved as soon as he came in sight, about 100m behind me. I decided to loose him and pulled up to 160km/h when an alarm sounded and something started flashing
[ orange triangle in the display..] , car behaved normally.

When I arrived at the dealers, switched ignition off and tried the up/down button. Worked as always. The orange triangle remained..
Dealer read the ECU but there was nothing else then it was not available. They reset it, and afterwards it worked again, no alarms anymore..

Anybody had something like this before ?

Why wasn't your spoiler up at the 135 Kph speed? Curious if the warning triangle appeared as 160 kph spoiler must be up or car thinks your going to air borne?

@jaguny.
I don't know ! Warning appeared at around 140/145kmph, but I didn't notice until I looked at the display, when I already hit 160..

Dealer told me : if it happens again, just stop the car on a parking or petrol station an put it up manually ; leave it up...
That's as tomorrow we're off to Germany to 'no limit' highways. Not advisable to go above 160 without the spoiler...

If I exceed about 100mph with my spoiler "switched off" and not in the *fully up* position, I get that warning triangle.

By switched off I mean, I installed a switch so I can disconnect the motor with the spoiler in any position I choose.

You can clear the warning triangle while you're driving if you observe that the spoiler is indeed up. Ok button on wheel.

If your spoiler was completely up, then it's possible the sensor that detects spoiler fully up was not seeing it for some reason.

I believe the European models do not have the automatic spoiler deployment settings that the lawyers insisted be coded into the control module on this side of the pond. If that is accurate, he may well have complete control over his spoiler using the button provided - regardless of speed - and if he exceeded the same threshold you have crossed with your self-installed over ride, AND his spoiler was not deployed at the time, then it is very probable the same warning nanny appears.

I know UK models automatically deploy rear spoiler at 70mph and retract at 55mph

My [ standard ] 2018MY deploys the spoiler automaticly : up at 122km/h and down at 82km/h. Sounds identical to speeds in miles Paul_59 speaks off. Only today my son played with the button and it turned out that I can
always put it up/down with the switch. Sofar I was convinced this could only be done standing stil. After the reset [ just came back from Germany, many km's above 200km/h] , it worked fine.
