Default ABS trouble lights, TRAC not available, ASC not available

I am at my wits end on my ABS system trouble lights. I am getting the ABS light, the typical messages TRAC not Available, and ASC not available messages. I have removed and cleaned all my wheel sensors, removed and repaired my ABS module which had the typical bad solder joints at the power lugs, and the message is still there. I also checked for resistance on the wiring at the module plug and did not get any readings at all on any of the sockets. I checked for codes after repairing the module and there are no codes with the exception of the typical P1000. Do you have any suggestions. by the way, my car is a 2000 XK8 Convertible with 78K miles. By the way, the cruise control does operate properly.

Sounds like you did all the right things. The cruise control COULD be an issue with the brake switch. Not sure if that would affect the ABS, but maybe.

Search the forum (use google, much better search) for brake switch and maybe that will turn up something.
