It looks to me like the Paramount unit is one piece rather than 2. The OEM grille, of course, comes in black, but the surround is only offered in grey or white. You would need to wrap or paint it if you want black. I'll probably wrap mine in chrome film.

I had not thought about the cross bar in the grill until I read this thread and now I need to remove it. Thanks I think. I also am going to try the Paramount grill only and blacken the surround as I have the black pack.

This forum is costing me way too much money.

That's true, you always learn something new that looks great but also costs money. Please inform me if you have installed the paramount grill. Gladly with photos. Thank you.

Default Parking Sensors

For anyone trying to figure out how/where to mount the 2 front bumper parking sensors, these cheap ones can be used so that you can fabricate the mounts and install them on the P7 grille while your F-Type stays on the road fully functional: JDE28658. At $12.29 each (free shipping), that beats the crap out of the $120 Jag part. Comes straight from China, probably right from an actual JLR parts supplier.

Just corrected the link. Sorry about that.

Default F-Type / E-Type design heritage

Nice work on the front grill mod! I'm thinking this may explain the origin of the F-Type split grill styling?(?):

can yout explain me how this sensors are better and how i can figure the sensors?

I think the conversion of the grill is not difficult, but the assembly, setting the parsensoren I feel as difficult. I hope my workshop can do this ...

These part numbers refer to sensors that are exactly the same as those already on your car. The seller is probably the original manufacturer, so you are not being charged Jag's 900% markup. I suggest buying them so that you can install them on the P7 grille while your F-Type is still fully assembled. That way, you have all the time you need to figure out how to attach them to the grille.

As soon as I come up with what I consider to be a satisfactory solution to mounting these sensors, I will post that solution.

+1. Please figure it all out for us so that we don't end up driving a car with a missing front end :-)

Nope. Been too busy, but I do have the 2 spare sensors to play with. Will get started on that after the short-shifter goes in.

Channels with access to those parts in inventory are insisting on rigorous proof of ownership. Others are claiming a 1 year backlog. All of the sources I was aware of appear to have dried up.

Its my understanding that those sources have dried up. Try here:

One piece Jaguar F-Type Font Grille - F Type Project Predator Full Open Grille and Surround

Grille: T2R18751
Surround: White - T2R18755 or Grey - T2R18756

Sensor: JDE28658
Sensor Retaining Ring: C3Z11732

There are no sensor brackets, just holes in the bumper that you are trying to eliminate. You will have to fabricate your own.
