Various theories have been presented about shorting out the sensor connector with the proper resistor, but I don’t know if anybody has been successful in making this happen.

 

Looking at response #333 of this thread. They were discussing problems with the front sensors working correctly.

"I wonder why Jaguar didn't offer them on the P7? After all it has rear sensors!"

So somehow there is a way around these.

Im looking to upgrade my grill I have the black pack 2016 F-Type R with front park assist. Where can i get the OEM grill and surround? I'm in CA USA. If I can get those parts I would take a pair off ur hand's.

 

The chrome surround is about $180 from the Jag parts dept. Black is several times more, so you might opt to paint a chrome one.

 

The P7 surround only comes in white or gray. Both same price. I wrapped mine in matte black.

I wouldn't recommend trying to paint over chrome. Paint will not adhere properly to a chrome finish. First time you go through a car wash, it's going to start flaking off. Just my two cents.
