I prefer the much larger honeycomb matrix of the P7 grille. I think any parking sensor installation would be far more obvious. Definitely an option, though, for someone without the vision pack.

Hi everybody,
I am a more passive reader on the forum but would like to purchase a P7 grille and am looking for a P7 VIN to order it from the dealer. Anybody that could help me there?
Thanks in advance!
Florian

That VIN has already been used by one of our other members. P.m. me if you would like a fresh VIN.

I have deleted my post out of respect for Unhingd. I did not mean to disturb the procedure/protocol here for safeguarding information for all. Please accept my apology.

Use the same publicly available VIN too many times and the parts won't magically be available any longer. For example, that VIN from Sotheby's has also already been used by one of our forum members.

+1...Agree! If we do not do a reasonable job of managing and spreading these out a bit, JLR might shut it down. Unhingd has been gracious enough to serve as a mediator/custodian for this project, and it has been working very well.

Does not take a genius to Google Project 7, and find VIN's. I found a number of them and provided them all to Unhingd to be sure we could manage it and help others...Has been working great to date.

No one can stop anyone from proceeding...But one day, all the fun may get shut down.

Thanks for continuing to help with this Unhigd! Appreciate you...And no skin off my nose...Mine is already installed

I have VINs for about 200 of the 250 Project 7s. If you need one feel free to DM me. Most of the P7 VINs I have are not found on Google.

I’ll send you a list of the VINs already used so you don’t hand those out again.

Is there a proper sequence or something I need to do to recalibrate the parking sensors on the front grill?

Nope. If installed at proper height, position and angles, they work just as when they were located in the center bar. Then you can test with something in front of the car that won't damage it if you hit it (before you try it on a curb).
