I realized I installed them vertical vs horizontal. I was wondering if theres an option to recalibrate them to work at either angle. Anybody know? Otherwise Ill just pull it off again and re rtv them in place.

A friend's legs walking in front of the stationary car works well ...

Yes...I know that there is NO calibration for the sensors, or a way to "re-orient them" to different position. All of the Ultrasonic inputs received from the sensors are sent to the PACM (Park Assist Control Module), which then communicates with the Infotainment system via audible warnings through the speakers. No adjustments, as they are pre-set to give a detection tone at 1000 mm and a continuous tone at 500 mm.

Yes! That is the perfect test! Make sure they are wearing sweats and soft shoes so they do not scratch your car...

I still have a P7 grill, surround, park sensor holders and red grill badge in my shop; all brand new as I never got around to installing them before I sold my F type; if anyone here seriously wants these parts, I would part with them for what I paid.

I'd definitely be interested - are there compatibility issues between models and years? I've got a 20 SVR - I don't know enough about the part numbers or if anything changed. If it would would work, I'll PM you.

Here are the part #s: Grille: T2R18751
Surround: White - T2R18755 or Grey - T2R18756

The previously known sources seem to have dried up. You will need to hunt for yourself. When you do find a source, they may ask for a P7 VIN. Ftyperegistry may be able to assist you with that.

yes, it is possible. I purchased the eBay carbon surround (and the P7 which I painted black- just really wanted carbon but needed a back up plan) and it works. The non-oem surround is totally different and doesn’t have factory slots for the tabs etc. there was quite a bit of fabrication to make it work correctly and look as intended but it can in fact be done. Now on to finally ordering the Koshi carbon splitter and side wings to round out the look…

wow that looks great for being an eBay carbon purchase. As you stated, I’m sure it took a lot to get it to fit right.

They're long gone, but not yet installed. Waiting for two things: deciding how to handle the different two hook position and getting time (and another pair of skilled hands) to R&R the nose.

I red thru the whole thread and the best idea I have is radical - what about 3D print, or CNC machine the whole grill with sensor cutouts and space the mesh design in a way that it will accommodate the tow hook. And also make a Euro numberplate holder integrated to the grill.
I think I would be able to do that...

Can anybody please tell me, if the mesh grill is flat or rounded like a sphere? I mean the whole piece, not individual honeycomb.

Hello everyone,
I've been reading the forum for a while and have now registered. I'm from Germany and would also like to convert to the P7 radiator grille. Is there anyone here in the forum who would like to sell one or can help me to order one? Many thanks in advance.

Best of luck to you. This particular thread is pretty old. There are a few newer ones (including one I recently created on this topic). The last authentic one's that were available that I know about, came from Wraptor Customs out of the UK. @wraptorcustoms might be able to source one for you eventually, but unlikely from what I am told. You could also reach out to @JacksonvilleJag as I know he bought one but never installed his, but would probably cost you a pretty penny to buy it from him, if he was even willing to sell. Wraptor could get you a 3rd party, knock off version, but keep in mind the quality on those are not great, but they could make it better for you, so its at least usable.
