Default P7 grille install help needed

HI

I've been thinking to install P7 grille that someone here did before.
As living in South Korea in which jaguar is very rare to see, especially for F type, I have no information to get other than this forum.

So, My question is . how many steps I should take to install P7 Grille?
Is there anyone who can help me in this regard?

Where to buy , what to buy , how to install. any obstacles which is unavoidable but need to solve?

Many thanks in advance.

the sensors are actually that much of an obstacle, the grille is special order only through JLR dealer parts dept and you need to provide them with a P7 VIN # to able to purchase the grille.

Not a step by step how to but does cover the majority of what needs to be done.

Hey mad!

Good day.
I just saw your comment in those thread in which you said grille parts cost 3200USD.

I called Jaguar part Korea with P7 VIN and they said grill center and surround are appox 750USD.

That was a typo, the cost for the 3 parts was $2200 USD. ( my dealer charged a premium, Britcar was going to be $1400 plus shipping but they could not get the parts )

T2R18751 is the mesh grille
T2R18756 is the surround
T2R18829 is the bumper beam

Those 3 parts are all necessary to install P7 Grille?

You don't need the bumper beam, whoever told you that is wrong.

If so,

T2R18751 is the mesh grille
T2R18756 is the surround

Those 2 parts are what only needed for P7 grille intallation?

And also wonder ,,

The dealer here said to me that grille surround part no. isn't compatible with my car.
He said the part no. is different.

Can I ignore this?

The bumper beam is not needed to install the grille and surround, but without it you will need to figure out how to modify them to accommodate insertion of the tow hook in case it is ever needed.

Those who did the install prior to Cambo finding the part number for the beam had no choice.
Why would not install the correct parts and not have to cut up your new grille and surround if you don’t have to?

What part did I install that's incorrect?? Replacing the bumper beam is matter of choice, I simply didnt care to. Just like I chose to spend $1200 to have the P7 grille on my car.

madmax1911- if you want to get technical, if you ask a JLR parts Dept, they will tell you the P7 grille and surround part #'s are not for regular ftypes only P7s.
