Now you would think it's easy to get the part number given all the numbers on the image, but I'm drawing a blank. I even tried google image search. It's from a V8 SVR diffuser. Need both left and right as part of a project. Perhaps they're not available separately, unlike the fog lamp brackets.
From what I see in searching, all the rear diffusers appear to come with those pieces installed. Makes me think that they are not a separately available part, as you guessed.
Not to help with anyone’s homework... but a super quick way you can do this is to make images for each of the numbers you want to recognise (so, 10 images for numbers 0-9), and then pass a window over the image and compare the pixel values in the window with the actual image of each number. Mean squared error is a super simple and impressively reliable metric. You could then fine tune the threshold of the MSE to classify digits. Good luck!
Yeah that HX5M-17F954-A is close to an oem part # but usually the middle section is 5 digits. I will browse the EPC tomorrow and see but I doubt that is sold separately.
