At the end of the day enthusiast have their opinions. I been driving Jags for the longest and to me they are my favorite cars of all time followed by Aston Martin which is my second favorite. Sure Porsche 911/718 does have some accolades and to many enthusiast is revered as some of the top sports cars but thats their opinion. When it comes to these high performance cars most people don't get the chance to push them to the limits, sure you have 0-60 times and these 600hp+ cars but theres only so much you can do when it comes to real world driving on the streets and the highway unless your taking them to the track. Furthermore their is a price to pay especially on the used car market. You can get a F-Type V6S or V8S or an R around 35k vs getting a Porsche 911 Turbo GT3 or 718 GT4 RS for around 130-200K+. When I got my F-Type V6S last year the amount of attention I received on the road was overwhelming. Went on a near 1400 mile trip and didn't see another F-Type in route but saw tons of Rolls Royces, Porsche 911 GT3, 718 GTS, M, AMG, Ferrari, Vette, etc drivers. At the end of the day its all about feeling and the F-Type brings that rawness, thrilling, excitement, awesomeness, uniqueness each and every drive and to me thats what maters the most when it comes to cars its all about how it makes you feel behind the wheel.

 

When it comes to stock the F-Type is better. That Lotus Emira exhaust is not stock. There is no other stock brand exhaust that sounds as excellent as a Jag.

 

Porsche and BMW and some Corvette drivers will never change Brands!

 

Nor Jaguar drivers with taste! Though they have to accept never buying new again ...
