My dealer would definitely install them, no problem.

If the rotors look good enough to change pads without turning (only mild scoring), then don't worry about it and just replace the pads.

It depends on which brake set-up you have (excluding the CCM brakes).
Three set-ups, Performance, High Performance and Super Performance.
Performance (standard on the Base) = 355 mm fronts and 326 mm rears.
High Performance (standard on the S) = 380 mm fronts and 326 mm rears.
Super Performance (standard on the R) = 380 mm fronts and 376 mm rears.

The minimum specified rotor thickness for all of these is 2 mm less than the new thickness.

326 fronts are 30 mm / 1.18" new, minimum 28 mm / 1.14".
355 fronts are 32 mm / 1.26" new, minimum 30 mm / 1.18".
380 fronts are 36 mm / 1.42" new, minimum 34 mm / 1.34".
326 rears are 20 mm / 0.79" new, minimum 18 mm / 0.72".
376 rears are 26 mm / 1.02" new, minimum 24 mm / 0.94"

Of course 2 mm maximum wear is extremely conservative, that's a whopping 1 mm each side and there is still plenty of meat left on the rotors, but them's the specs!

Anyone else have trouble ordering from Stuart's website? Keeps asking for shipping address, even though I checked "shipping address is same as billling"

Can't be my card, it worked fine for my online Viagra order a few minutes ago.

I so hope these pads can help keep the dust off my HRE's.

I had to uncheck "ship to billing address" and then it worked

Couple people reporting this - checking with Volusion to see what the problem might be.

Just a little heads up for those outside of North America. Our website provider's shipping plugins are not working correctly at the moment so when you check out it is most likely going to be showing you North American shipping costs. We will have to add some cost to your invoice to cover excess shipping in the meantime. If you need a quote prior to ordering email info@velocityap.com

Sorry for the inconvenience. At this special pricing we have super low margins on the parts, so we would be losing $40-50 on some of these orders shipping at USA/Canadian rates.

Just a quick update. I installed my pads almost two weeks ago and I am very impressed with how little brake dust they produce. My car isn't a daily driver but I do jump into it every chance I get. It was garaged most of last week from all the rain received from Harvey but still my rims look a million times better than they would have with the stock pads on. Great investment in my eyes.

Just changed mine the other day - had 22k miles and did NOT need to change the rotors... but i used an indy shop so not sure what dealer would have done. Keep in mind i got 20k miles on my OEM pirellis so my driving habits may be a bit tame by some standards.

looking forward to first few trips after next wash to see how the brake dust compares.

Same here. Went to an Indy shop as well. Got 21K on mine & I didn't have the rotors changed either. Drove it for two days after a full detail...usually brake dust after only a few hours driving. No dust yet.

I put new Porterfield R4S pads on lightly worn drilled & slotted rotors (off my old XFR) a week and a half ago, definitely no need to renew the rotors if they are within minimum thickness spec. Can't comment on brake dust yet, it's been wet every day here ever since so the wheels are covered in crud anyway.

Initially the pedal felt a little "softer" but it wasn't all that bad. I got used to it pretty quickly. The stopping felt about the same to me. One thing about me though, I drive my car at regulated speeds the majority of the time. But when I did get on the gas a little yesterday, the pads performed really well.

Pedal firmness will have nothing to do with the pad. Softness most often indicates that there is air in the brake lines. Does the pedal feel get firmer if you pump the pedal?
