price watch - getting real
Well, other than minor body shaping and LCD dash, what has really changed (updated styling or technological progression per se) in the last 5 years on the car to demand such an aggressive entry offering price? Personally, I'd consider other used offerings and/or makes before jumping into a brand new F-Type. That's a shame for the brand.
Also - wasn't there an announcement that Jag was dropping current model offerings to then only to compete with higher end competitors? Maybe a result as well?

Drive off the dealer's lot and you've got a year-old car. Limited market, holidays and winter approaching doesn't help either.
Or perhaps folks out there are sensing that this Ponzi economy is about to crash?

Great deal and a great car...suspension got updated and I suspect a host of little things get revised year over year....I am partial to the older front end and rear lights...could go either way on the sport seats. And I added carplay via alliexpress for 400 dollars (wireless)....so I am happy in my v6 at under half that...but compared to an entry 911....jag all day long.

Looking for a used vert SVR or V8 S to add to F-Pace SVR and have decided to wait till January. I think it will give the prices a little more time to come down to reality. Hopefully January is a good time for dealers to be nervous about convertibles, but not so nervous as to say keep the price as-is, we can just wait till spring, lol.
Speaking of, the majority of f-types I am interested in seem to be southern east coast/floriday. As a child of the midwest, I know salt is a real killer, but I do not know about coastal cars. I would guess rust would be a concern, but not compared to something drivin regularly in the midwest winters where a daily salt water bath on the undercarriage is a normal thing.
