Was hoping to get a little insight from anyone that may have experience with the Forged VS wheels series.. I just placed an order for the VS08 wheels in a black finish. I currently own and would like to reuse my Black Growler lug nuts. To me the Jaguar F-Type lug nuts shape are quite unique compared to any other lug nuts I’ve ever seen on any other automobile. It has a “Acorn” shape connect area with an articulating flat washer. Does anyone have any experience with reusing the original F-Type lug nuts with their Forged VS wheels? Also a shout out to all the contributing members on this forum Thank you I have learned a lot.

 

You have to use the lugnuts provided by VS. The lugnut profile is totally different for the VS and the OEM nut will nut seat on the wheel properly. Also, each of the VS lugnuts are keyed to require a unique driver. Takes 5 times longer to defeat than a typical locking nut.
