You are right about getting them into position. Sorry about the health issue and hope you are doing better. I needed portable lifting although with a 12 foot ceiling in my garage I eventually might go with a 4 post. Will look at adding the wheels and appreciate the video.
I finally used my Quick Jack 5000TL to change my rotors and brake pads. I didn't find it to difficult to slide on the smooth concrete garage floor. The 5000 series is just long enough to reach the lift points on the F Type and I angled the fronts in to align with the correct lift points. Sparky is right, 27" on the TL model. I also got the SUV and truck adapters to use on the wife's F Pace. I wouldn't want the longer SLX model as they are already long and can be unwieldy to hang on the wall.

I bought the original BL-5000 back in 2015 but the maximum lift point span was only 50.5" -- the same as the current 3500SLX model which is not nearly long enough. I was putting 6' x 4" stainless bar stock on top of the rails to extend the reach which worked ok for my 535i but deflected dangerously when used with the F Type. Last week I purchased a set of 5000TLX frame rails to use with my existing hoses and power unit and they were delivered today. Surprisingly, the over all frame length is only 6" longer than the BL-5000 (76" vs. 70") but the maximum lift point span is 66" -- more than enough for pretty much any vehicle other than maybe a Tesla and the lift height is significantly higher. I know I could have gotten away with 5000TL frames but I really like having that extra 6" cushion.
Hi JacksonvilleJag,
Have you done a full lift yet using this placement? It may just be this photo ( full photo of the Quickjacks ) but it looks for sure that the two jacks are a fair bit out of parallel?
