Default Radar and dashcam combination

Hi,
I am looking to see if anyone has some sound advice for a radar and dash cam combination that comes in one unit.
I was going to power it from the cigarette lighter.
I have looked at the "Cobra Road Scout Dash Cam and Radar Detector" but wondered if anyone had any better suggestions.
It's a shame the Cobra doesn't have the parking record.
Thanks
DAMC

I don't have any experience with an all in one rig, but all of the highly rated detectors I've seen don't have camera built in (that I'm aware of). You may want to consider getting them separately (you can tap the same wire connections) if you want a good detector that works but doesn't drive you nuts with falses.

I have a V1 Gen 2 clipped to my left visor (which never gets flipped down) and a Red Tiger front and rear dash cam stuck to my windshield just to the right of the mirror. Wires are run down the A pillar to the fuse box. If you have a convertible the rear camera will require some extra wiring gymnastics and silicon caulk to prevent water intrusion to get to the license plate which has this

. Some units have an integrated rear cam that points to the back windshield, but the field of view is pretty narrow in the F-Type. I run JBV1 on an Android phone with Waze (both with CSA turned on).

@DMAC USA Escort, Cobra and Whistler make combo units but make sure you get the rear cam as well. If you install one of these please report back how it is working.

I even have the same dash cam installed on my motorcycle and e-bike. I have recorded some scary stuff over the years (accidents ahead of and behind me, large objects in road (such as a couch in the fast lane in the early morning, close call), animals, objects flying out of truck beds, near misses, bad behavior, road rage, and a "person" running down the highway who had a strong resemblance to Beetlejuice).
