Hi,

I have recently had to have my windscreen replaced and I am sure something is not right. I have the rain sensing wipers with the position set to auto mode marked "- -" on the stalk.

When I start my car the windscreen wipers wipe once. I am sure that this didn't use to happen but I cannot remember. Please could somebody validate that this shouldn't happen.

You are correct. Something isn't right since your windshield change. Normally, the rain detecting system doesn't initiate a wiper sequence when you start the car with a dry windshield.

It sounds like a sensor issue.
