Default Red seats and interior

I have always been a bit apprehensive about light colored seats, though my old XJ6 did have quite nice grey seats.
Does anyone have any feedback on how the red F-Type seats hold up?
Do they come clean with just normal maintenance? Do they show wear faster than darker colors?

My 2016 has about 16k miles and the interior looks new. The dash and doors look the same. From about six inches away, you can maybe see some very mild wear on the seat bolsters but I’m pretty fanatical about my stuff and I think they look great. I can’t speak to a direct comparison to other colors, but I have looked at a number of used ones with black interior and most had upper bolster wear and some wear actually worn away to the point of not having any color left. In fairness, a couple had miles in the 40-50k range and may not have been cared for.

My 16 has red/black seats; the red looks great. My 18 SVR is all red, but not many miles by me. 11k by others, and they look new,

My red seats still look like new at 7 years+ old and 71,000 km.
I clean the seats every 3 months or so with plain water and a microfibre cloth and then a very small amount of Autoglym Leather Care Balm which keeps them looking, feeling and smelling like new.
But when I first got the car 5.5 years ago a patch on the driver's seat bolster had been worn down a fair bit and AFAICT the polyurethane coating had been rubbed off, pic attached.

I since repaired it with leather dye from Seat Doctors and you can no longer see any wear mark.

Full red in my 2017 SVR and still like new too

I have the ivory white / cream in my XF and that takes care to keep clean. The red doesn't seem to be an issue

We have red seats in our maserati and they have been great. The optional leather is a better quality than the Jag but not by much. The only problem I had was some denim rubbing off. Normal cleaner worked. I clean the leather every month and condition it a couple times a year. Car has a dark tint.

My red seats looked almost brand new on my 2014 Vert. I leave the top down a lot in the hot Georgia sun , and slide into the driver seat since I broke my knee recently , I am starting to see slide marks, but they weren’t there until I changed how I entered the car due to injury. Of course , I haven’t seen my car since may of 2021, but it is in storage.

I fractured my hip a few months after buying the Jag. I have the seat memory set to move all the way back for entry and exit and then have second memory to put it in driving position. With out doing this I would have had to sell car. No noticable wear from doing this.

I had Coral Red seats in my '09 E93 and was concerned about wear and how I would feel about the color years later. Had the car for 10 years, loved it every single time I got in the car, and the seats looked exactly as new the day I sold it as the day I bought it. I'll always say yes to a red interior.

My red are like new after 25K miles. I use leatherique cleaner and conditioner X2 a year and they are soft and have a great smell. It pulls out all contaminants and the cleaner pulls it off. I have used it on all my cars for years.
