Default RPM fluctuation(up and down)

2019 Jaguar F-type RPM fluctuating at Park goes up and down between 500-750 or even higher from the 500 mark. Usually only happens when the car has been parked more than a day then I start it and it does the RPM fluctuation. When I’m constantly driving it day to day it does not happen. Stays at around 1000rpm when in park. Not sure if it’s something I should be concerned about, if someone out there is having or had this issue please let me know how to go on. I’d greatly appreciate it. There is no check engine light on.
Thanks in advance.

Could be because your A/C is is on (or any defrost selection is made).

When the A/C cycles on & off the idle changes to compensate.

Sounds like a possibility, I do turn the car on from time to time from the remote app which automatically turns on the A/C or heater for temp control. Thanks for the response.

Also, I've seen a few people with this model comment that tickover isn't good when cold. If your symptons occur mainly when cold, could be the same thing. Don't know why tickover should be poor when cold, unless the metering on these models isn't quite right.

Re-reading the initial posting, "1000 RPM in park"

If it revs that high fully warmed-up, out of gear, there MIGHT be an issue with a cylinder head temperature sensor (or whatever JLR calls it). An issue like that would cause a high RPM.

ECU usually controls idle on modern cars.

But, I don't see THAT as causing variations ... unless, as stated, the A/C is turning on & off. (Never noticed that on our '14 V6, but I don't idle the car to warm it up...just DRIVE.)

The idle variation and the relatively high 1,000 RPM could both be symptomatic of a sensor issue. They also could be the result of a vacuum leak.

correction, it actually sits at .500 to .600. The 1000RPM happens at start for about 10 seconds then goes down but apparently that happens with the 2.0 engines I found out. The fluctuation is the unusual and haven’t seen people talk about it. I feel if a sensor would be faulty the check engine light would go on. Same with an excessive vacuum leak. No check engine light thankfully so far.

The increased revs at start up for a short period is also normal for the 3.0 engines.

My P300 does that too.
Last summer I never noticed it when I was driving it daily, but this winter the car is stored, and I only start it once a month. It smooths out after it’s warmed up.
