I am halfway through installing the Carlinklife CarPlay device for my 2015 with the old Bosch system. When I go to view the Carplay screen it's just a black screen, I still see overlays for volume and other Jaguar systems but nothing from the Carplay unit. Support for Carlinklife said to remove the map card in the SD slot, my arm rest has no SD slot, is there one somewhere else in my car (coupe)?

 

Don’t think so. Mine looks the same way, and the one map update I did was via the USB port.

 

Yeah I'm wondering if this CarPlay box just isn't compatible with the old Bosch, they assured me it was before ordering...

 

So now support is telling me there is a black Navigation Module box that I need to remove the SD card from and it's probably in my trunk, anyone familiar with this and where it is?
