Default Lift and Jack Stand Points for the R model?

I already have the shop manual downloaded from another thread, and I found on pages 796-797 a section called "Jacking and Lifting" (see 2 pages attached).

Question: the bottom of my 2015 F-Type R looks a bit different. Does that matter for the jack and lift points in the diagram?

I've seen a couple of YouTube videos where they put the jack stands on the F-Type in a different location.

I'm attempting to become a DIY mechanic on my F-Type, so just starting out on this journey. Thanks!

I have commented on this before but the jacking and lifting points shown in that PDF (it's the same in both the Owner's Handbook and the Workshop Manual) are not quite correct. The rear points are correct but not the front jacking points.
It seems to me that diagram was copied from the XK and plonked into the F-Type handbook and manual when the F-Type, although based on the same chassis as the XK, has different front jacking points.
Just locate the little arrows/triangles on the bottom of the sills which indicate where the jacking points are.

Thanks for that! I found the arrows (after wiping the underside with a wet rag) and am using the reinforced metal lip where the arrow points to jack up the front, one side at a time.

Once I get a side up high enough with the floor jack, where do I place the jack stand to keep that side up since my floor jack is now taking up the jacking point space?

I use low entry trolley jacks with small heads on those jacking points and I don't put them on/around any lip.
On the rear there is a triangular chassis plate with a large nut in each corner and the head of my jack fits nicely in the flat plate area between those nuts.
On the front there is a roughly 30 mm wide bit of chassis rail where the little arrow is, about 150 mm (around 6") in from the sill and the head of the trolley jack sits on it just nice.
I have no doubt these are the correct jacking points as they work with the OEM F-Type jack which has a flat head, different to my other Jags (XFS and XFR) which had an OEM jack with a slotted head designed to go around the chassis pinch lip.
Remember, these are the emergency roadside jacking points designed for use with the OEM jack and they are not the jack stand points per se.
If your floor/trolley jack has a large head this may be a problem for you and you could maybe place a small rubber puck in the head but then you might struggle to get the jack under the car. I could not get my normal "big head" trolley jack under even before I fitted VAP lowering springs and that is why I bought a pair of low entry trolley jacks with small heads and maybe you need to do the same.
As for placing jack stands, I can juuust squeeze one in next to the trolley jack providing I have the trolley jacks raised to their maximum height and I place the jack stands right up against the trolley jacks. Both front and rear there is just enough chassis rail next to the heads of the trolley jacks to do this.

Thanks so much for the detail! I’ll give this a try this weekend!
