Thanks folks, great group of owners. It was between this and a BMW i8-- which I have long admired. Even though the F-type R wipes the mat with the i8, 0-60 acceleration-wise, once they both get going, I like my i8 better and am only keeping one.

being 6'4", the F-Type R is too cramped compared to the spacious i8. Check the classifieds if you or someone you know is looking for a like-new specimen.
