Default Side splitters disassembly - bumper out?

I want to paint these side splitters

Is there a chance how to put them down without the bumper out?
Thank you

Default Very easy to do

The removal of the side splitters is straightforward. At the bottom of the part there are screws which are screwed into the bumper. All you need to do is unscrew and that part will come off from the bumper. Crawl underneath if you don't have a lift and you will see the screws which you need to be removed in order to disassemble this part.

Don't remember the specifics, but be sure to note the position of ALL mounting screws...some are longer than others.

I stick 'em into my very own outline drawing of the part during disassembly, in their proper positions.

Someday my heirs will SELL all the punctured cardboard in my garage, It's my legacy! LOL

Those little side splitters are held on with 4 X 8mm (maybe 10 mm??) hex head screws/bolts each side.
The screws/bolts are identical and all the same length.
They screw into the plastic bumper cover so go easy when refitting them and don't over-torque them.
Also, if you remove and refit them many times like I have the mounting holes can become a little wallered out so again take it easy.
I largely fixed this problem by wrapping the thread of each screw with a bit of electrical tape.

@Carbuff2 and @OzXFR great ideas! I'm getting ready to pull the bumper to do a P7-style grill (the E-Pace method) and carbon fiber wrap those parts.

I pulled mine off last month to paint them the same color as the body and it was a piece of cake basically. I also painted the front lip the same color to be more like a 2018 model design, then wrapped it in clear ppf since that lip can get a lot of abuse from rogue gravel.
2016 with color matched lip and side splitters

I want to do similar, I want to have side splitters in color, but the middle section in black, because I have black side sills and black diffusor so to have a balance. I never liked that "cut-out" around side splitters, especially on photos where black splitters tend to disappear and then the front looks weird to me.
