Default Solid plastic isolater

Hi guys forgive the spelling, a member on the x351 section is looking for advice on changing this plastic isolater, the newer plastic coupler without the spring that goes on the supercharged coupling, he has the 3 litre v6 340 BNP engine and is looking to replace this , but when he went onto a site that sells the newer plastic one without the steel spring the website he is hoping to buy from says it is only suitable for the 5 litre engine . Could any one confirm that it would be suitable for the v6 as well as the v8 engines . As I know a few of you have replaced this . Thanks George

This recent thread would be a good place to start.

Thanks George and DJS!

I bought the ZZ Performance part as suggested by skizot (see below - 49mm diameter)

My next adventure will be determining what supercharger snout to buy. I hear everyone advising against the $200-300 varieties from China, but is there an aftermarket OEM spec variety that could save me a bit on the $800 OEM? I am trying to avoid replacing mine with a used snout, I would sooner rebuild mine but I know that’s a lot of trouble too. I’m a novice, just trying to determine if I can take this on as a DIY job. Thanks again!
